- What time do the doors open? 7.15pm
- Do you issue refunds? No- we can not issue refunds or re-issue tickets if they are lost or stolen.
- What happens if it rains? Unfortunately we can't reschedule New Years Eve, so the show must go on! If it looks like it is going to rain, please come prepared with a rain coat or poncho. Umbrellas will not be permitted onto the site.
- Can I buy a ticket on the door? Yes. You can purchase tickets from the box office at the event on the day, which will be open from 5pm, providing the event has not sold out.
- Can I get a passout once I have entered the event? No, so make sure you have everything you need with you.
- Will there be an ATM at the event? No.
- What is the deal with the drinks? Your ticket to Odyssey includes your drinks for the evening. All drinks served on the night will be in accordance with Liquor Licensing guidelines at the time and are subject to change. Empire is working closely with the Gold Coast City Council to ensure everyone has a great time without making a total idiot of themselves.
- Will I need photo ID? Yes. Odyssey is an 18+ event and you will need ID for entry.
- How does the transport work? Simple- you select the pre party venue nearest to you and meet up with your friends there. The bus will pick you up, drop you off at Carrara and then drop you back at the same place you started. You need to purchase a separate ticket for transport.
- Can I get picked up in the Gold Coast and dropped off in Brisbane with the Transport Tickets (or vice versa)? No. You must get dropped off at the same place as you were picked up.
- Can I buy a transport ticket on the night? You can only buy a transport ticket at the venue to get you from Carrara back to either Gold Coast or Brisbane for $30. You can not buy a ticket to get from the pre party to Carrara though, you must pre purchase these as bus seats will be limited.
- Can I bring food/beverages into the festival? No. Free water outlets will be made available at all bars and there will be a variety of food vans available. Bags will be checked upon entry and any prohibited items will be confiscated.
- Can I take my camera to the festival? Yes, you can take a camera as long as it is not a professional camera or a video camera.
- Are the rides included in the ticket price? The rides are independently owned and free rides equals massive cues, so to ensure that everyone gets a turn the rides will charged at $6 each (which is still really cheap!).
